Buying case parts & accessories at HodlChip

Parts that fix the small problems found after a build is finished, or make it look the way you planned. The Type filter groups them:

  • Airflow and dust protection: magnetic and model-specific dust filters, including custom-cut sets for popular cases, plus fan brackets and fan hubs.
  • Holders and mounts: vertical GPU mounts with riser cables, radiator and fan brackets, drive mounts and rack rails. Match a riser to your platform, PCIe 4.0 or 5.0, and leave a gap between the card's fans and the side panel.
  • Panels and covers: replacement glass and mesh panels, front panels and PCI slot covers, usually made for one case model.
  • Switches and buttons: vandal-resistant push buttons with LED rings for custom builds and test benches, and remote power switches.
  • Controllers and I/O: front-panel USB and card reader upgrades, and fan or ARGB hubs.

Model-specific parts list the cases they fit on the product page, so check yours before ordering. GPU support brackets and more riser cables are in graphics card accessories, lighting is in RGB lighting, and fan grills and splitters are in fan accessories.

Questions about case parts & accessories

Will this accessory fit my case?
Universal items such as magnetic filters and fan hubs fit most builds. Model-specific panels, filters, brackets and mounts list compatible cases on the product page; if your case is not listed, email support@hodlchip.com before ordering.
Which riser cable do I need for a vertical GPU mount?
One that matches the PCIe generation of your graphics card and motherboard. If you use a PCIe 4.0 riser on a PCIe 5.0 system, set the slot to PCIe 4.0 in the BIOS to avoid instability. Also check the riser length and that the mount fits your case.
Do dust filters reduce cooling?
Slightly, as any mesh restricts some airflow, but they keep dust out of fans, radiators and heatsinks, which protects temperatures over time. Clean them every few weeks, and keep slightly more intake than exhaust airflow so dust enters only through the filters.
