Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can withdraw from a purchase made on hodlchip.com within 14 days, without giving any reason. This page explains how. It applies in addition to our 30-day return policy, which is open to all customers, and you can rely on whichever is more favorable to you. Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. If you ordered multiple goods in one order and they are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the last good. If the goods consist of multiple lots or pieces, the period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or that third party, acquire physical possession of the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us, HodlChip, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement. The quickest way is our online withdrawal function: open Track your order, find your order with its number and email address, and select Withdraw from contract, then confirm. You can also email support@hodlchip.com. Our name and geographical address are shown in the company details on our Legal notice. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. Including your order number, which starts with HC-, helps us process your withdrawal quickly.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. We acknowledge every withdrawal by email.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. We send you the return address with our acknowledgment of your withdrawal.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

How refunds are paid

• Same means of payment: the refund is paid in the coin and on the network you paid with, to an address you give us by email.
• Amount: your order is priced in US dollars, so we reimburse the USD amount of your payments, converted into that coin at the exchange rate on the day of the refund. The amount of crypto you receive may therefore be higher or lower than the amount you sent.
• Delivery costs: the refund includes your original delivery costs up to the price of the least expensive standard delivery we offered for your address. If you chose a more expensive option, such as Express, the extra cost is not refunded; if your order qualified for free standard shipping, the Express charge is not refunded.
• No fees: you are not charged any fee for the refund itself.

Exceptions

As provided by law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized, or to sealed computer software that you unseal after delivery.
