Buying liquid cooling at HodlChip

Liquid cooling carries heat from the CPU and GPU to radiators, where fans can shed it with less noise. There are two ways in:

For a custom loop, plan before you buy. Confirm block compatibility with your exact CPU socket and graphics card model, measure radiator space including fans, and choose soft tubing (easier and forgiving) or hard tubing (cleaner look, needs bending tools and patience). Keep to one metal family: copper, brass and nickel-plated parts work together, aluminum does not. Fill and leak-test with only the pump running before you power the rest of the system. The custom water cooling guide walks through a complete loop.

Questions about liquid cooling

Should I choose an AIO or a custom loop?
An AIO is the simple choice for a CPU: it installs in minutes and needs no refilling. A custom loop costs more and takes planning, but it can cool the CPU and graphics card together, with more radiator area and lower noise under load.
How much radiator area do I need?
A common rule of thumb is one 120 mm radiator section per component plus one extra, for example 360 mm for a CPU and GPU loop, and more for high-wattage graphics cards or very low fan speeds. Thicker radiators add capacity where space allows.
Can I mix copper and aluminum parts in a loop?
No. Copper and aluminum in the same coolant cause galvanic corrosion. Keep to copper, brass and nickel-plated parts, and use a coolant with corrosion inhibitors.
