Buying sim racing accessories at HodlChip

Accessories complete a rig and let you tune it to your body and driving style. They fall into three groups, matching the Type filter:

  • Wheel and base accessories: quick releases and adapters between brands, base mounts and brackets, extension shafts, and paddle and button kits. Quick releases and adapters must match both your wheel and your base.
  • Pedal accessories: elastomer and spring kits that change brake feel, throttle and clutch upgrades, longer pedal plates and add-on hydraulics, each made for specific pedal models.
  • Rig accessories: seat sliders and brackets, side and front mounts, keyboard and mouse trays, screen mounts, harnesses, covers and floor mats.

Almost everything here is model-specific, so check that the part is listed for your wheel base, pedals or rig, and compare the mounting pattern, before ordering. Mounts for aluminum profile rigs usually attach with T-nuts and bolts in the profile slots. For monitor stands, see monitor arms & mounts; for gear levers and handbrakes, see shifters & handbrakes.

Questions about sim racing accessories

Can I use a wheel from one brand on another brand's base?
Often, with a quick release adapter made for that pairing, though some buttons, displays or lights may not work across brands. Check the adapter's compatibility list for both the wheel and the base.
How do elastomer kits change brake feel?
Elastomers and springs set how the brake pedal resists your foot: stiffer elastomers give a firmer, race-car feel, softer ones a longer, road-car travel. Kits are made for specific pedal sets, so match your model.
Will this mount fit my rig?
Check the mounting pattern and the rig it is listed for. Aluminum profile rigs accept most universal mounts with T-nuts, while steel tube cockpits often need brand-specific brackets.
