Overview

A 4TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD built for laptops and compact systems. It delivers sequential speeds up to 14,000 MB/s read and 13,000 MB/s write with a detachable heatsink.

Design and Cooling

The drive uses a single-sided M.2 2280 layout with a white detachable heatsink. Its 6nm controller reduces heat output, allowing stable operation in thin laptops and the PS5 expansion slot without bulky cooling.

Performance and NAND

232-layer 3D TLC flash enables the 4TB capacity. Sequential speeds reach 14,000 MB/s read and 13,000 MB/s write. Random performance hits 2,000K IOPS read and 1,650K IOPS write with SLC caching and DRAM buffer.

Compatibility and Software

Backward compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 platforms. Works with current Intel and AMD systems and the PlayStation 5. SSD Toolbox software provides firmware updates and S.M.A.R.T. health monitoring.
