Overview

This adapter cable converts a USB 5V source to 12V to power 3-pin or 4-pin PC fans. It includes a built-in boost circuit and measures 0.6 meters.

Voltage Conversion Design

A discrete step-up circuit transforms 5V USB input into a 12V output rated for up to 0.7 amps. This allows standard USB ports to drive 12V cooling fans at full speed.

Fan Compatibility

The straight female header accepts both 3-pin and 4-pin PWM fans. It also works with 3-pin models that include auto thermal sensors such as the AK-179BKT-C and AK-174BKT-B.

Cable Construction

The shielded cable runs 0.6 meters end to end. Connectors are not angled. The jacket and connectors are black with no sleeving or RGB lighting.

Typical Applications
