Overview

The QUADRO is a four-channel PWM fan and RGBpx LED controller for water- or air-cooled PCs. It connects via USB or aquabus and suits builders who need independent fan curves and addressable lighting effects.

Fan Control and Protection

Each of the four 4-pin PWM outputs delivers up to 25 watts and includes overload protection. Channels can run manual speeds or follow temperature curves with adjustable minimum speeds. An intelligent start boost with speed monitoring ensures reliable fan spin-up.

Addressable RGB Lighting

The RGBpx output controls up to 90 individually addressable LEDs split into four groups. Twenty-three effects are available with deep parameter tuning; some effects react to sensor data or audio. The AMBIENTpx effect mirrors screen edges onto the LEDs for ambient backlighting.

Connectivity and Integration

A USB interface provides standalone configuration and monitoring. The unit also functions as an aquabus expansion for aquaero 5 or 6 controllers, passing fan channels, temperature inputs, and flow data. Up to two QUADRO devices can share one aquaero.

Physical Design

The black housing measures 49 mm long, 45 mm wide, and 17 mm high. Four internal 4-pin fan connectors are provided. No external power brick is required; power is drawn from the connected fans and USB or aquabus link.
