Overview

This reservoir combines a D5 NEXT pump with LEAKSHIELD negative-pressure leak protection in a borosilicate glass tube. It suits custom-loop builders who want integrated monitoring and fill assistance.

Design and Materials

The reservoir uses a 65 mm borosilicate glass tube with 5 mm walls for high scratch, chemical, and thermal resistance. Top and base are acetal, sealed with black anodized aluminum rings that never contact coolant. A removable stainless steel mesh filter in the base traps debris and eliminates bubbles.

LEAKSHIELD Protection

LEAKSHIELD maintains negative pressure across the loop so air enters instead of coolant escaping during a leak. The integrated vacuum pump restores vacuum if air enters. It monitors for leaks before the system powers on and assists filling via a suction line with level monitoring.

D5 NEXT Pump Features

The mounted D5 NEXT pump runs on 12 V DC, consumes up to 65 W, and delivers 3.7 m head pressure. It includes a ceramic ball motor, OLED display for standalone control, coolant temperature sensor, PWM fan output up to 25 W, RGBpx output for 90 LEDs, and an alarm buzzer. Configuration is available via aquasuite software.

Lighting and Included Items

A silicone RGBpx ring with 13 addressable LEDs slides over the tube for even diffusion. It has input and output connectors for daisy-chaining with a 50 cm cable. The package includes the reservoir with pump, LED ring, RGBpx cable, rubber mounting ring with steel insert, two USB cables, full mounting hardware, and four rubber decouplers. Fittings are not included.
