Design and Build

The adapter measures 25 by 7 millimeters and weighs four grams. A 10-centimeter nylon-braided cable connects the USB-C plug to the 3.5mm jack, providing strain relief and durability.

Audio Performance

The DAC delivers up to 384 kHz at 32-bit for playback with an output SNR of 124 dBA and THD+N of -95 dB. Recording captures 48 kHz at 16-bit with 99 dB input SNR. A built-in amplifier provides 30 milliwatts into 32 ohms.

Compatibility and Features

Works with USB-C phones, tablets, and computers including iPhone 15 and newer, recent iPads, and major Android brands. The TRRS jack auto-detects CTIA and OMTP headsets for stereo output and microphone input. Hot-plug and plug-and-play are supported across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, and Chrome OS.
