Overview

A compact USB 3.2 Gen 2 docking station that holds two NVMe M.2 SSDs and clones them offline at up to 1000 MB/s. Tool-free design suits IT pros and enthusiasts who need fast drive access and duplication.

Design and Build

The dock measures 68 by 68 by 17 millimeters and weighs 94 grams. An aluminum body with integrated weights lowers the center of gravity, while rubber feet keep it stable on a desk. Two M.2 slots accept single- and double-sided drives in 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, and 22110 lengths with M-key or B+M-key pinouts.

Performance and Cloning

USB 3.2 Gen 2 delivers up to 10 Gbps theoretical bandwidth; real-world throughput reaches about 1000 MB/s. UASP and TRIM are supported for sustained SSD speed. The clone button starts an offline copy from slot one to slot two at up to 1000 MB/s; four blue LEDs show 25-percent progress increments. Target drive must be equal or larger in capacity.

Connectivity and Compatibility

A reversible USB-C port connects to the host via the included 25-centimeter USB-C to C or USB-C to A cables. The dock works with Windows 7 through 11, Windows Server 2008 onward, macOS 10.x, and Linux kernel 2.6 or newer. Drivers are built into the OS; Windows 7 may need a vendor driver for the specific SSD.

What Is Included

Package contains the docking station, a 100-240V AC adapter with 5V 3A output and 150-centimeter cable, both USB cables, and a multilingual manual. A power switch on the unit controls the external supply.
