Overview

A screwless aluminum enclosure that turns any M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD into a portable USB-C 10Gbps drive. Fits 2242 2260 and 2280 cards single or double sided.

Design and Cooling

The titanium silver aluminum shell uses a brushed finish that resists fingerprints. Integrated cooling holes and a thermal conductive pad draw heat away from the SSD to maintain sustained speeds and extend drive life. The rounded 94 by 41 by 10 millimeter case weighs only 35 grams.

Performance and Compatibility

The JMicron bridge chip delivers up to 10Gbps theoretical bandwidth with real world transfers around 1000MB/s. It supports PCIe NVMe and AHCI SATA M.2 drives in 2242 2260 and 2280 lengths without capacity limits. UASP TRIM and SMART monitoring are fully supported.

Connectivity and Power

A reversible USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port provides the host connection and is backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0. Bus power up to 900mA from a single port runs any supported SSD. Hot plug and plug and play work on all major operating systems.
