Overview

A compact USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub that adds two USB-A and two USB-C ports at 10Gbps through a fixed 13cm cable. Ideal for laptops lacking legacy ports.

Design and Build

The slim aluminum enclosure measures 87 by 40 by 12 millimeters and weighs 48 grams including the cable. A structured finish resists fingerprints while the metal body aids heat dissipation during sustained transfers.

Performance and Use

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 upstream link provides up to 10Gbps total bandwidth shared across all four downstream ports. Each port supports SuperSpeed+ 10Gbps, SuperSpeed 5Gbps, and legacy speeds down to 1.5Mbps. Two USB-C ports can charge phones or tablets at up to 3 amps.

Connectivity and Compatibility

A fixed 13cm USB-C male cable connects to the host. The hub is backward compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0, and works with Thunderbolt 3 ports. No drivers are required on Windows 7 through 10, macOS, Linux, Android, or Chrome OS.
