Overview

A seven-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub with a fixed 1-meter cable and aluminum housing. It adds seven USB-A ports to a computer and can charge mobile devices with or without a PC connection.

Design and Build

The hub features an aluminum body with a textured finish that resists fingerprints. A fixed 1-meter USB-A cable connects to the host, and a front-facing port accommodates larger flash drives. Dimensions are 145 x 42 x 15 mm with a weight of 110 grams including the cable.

Performance and Use

USB 3.2 Gen 1 provides up to 5 Gbps theoretical bandwidth shared across all seven ports. Backward compatibility covers USB 3.1 Gen 1, 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1. Hot-plug and plug-and-play are supported on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android without extra drivers.

Power and Charging

Bus power runs low-draw peripherals and up to three 2.5-inch drives. Adding a micro USB charger (2A minimum recommended) enables up to five 2.5-inch drives and raises total charging current to 5A at 5V. Each port delivers up to 1.5A for phones, tablets, or iPads. The hub also operates as a standalone charger when the computer is off.

One upstream USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A male connector on a 1-meter shielded cable. Seven downstream USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A female ports. Package includes the hub and a multilingual manual in a cardboard box.
