This active adapter cable connects an HDMI display to a DisplayPort 1.4 source. It supports 4K at 60 Hz, HDR, and HDCP 2.3 for streaming content.

Design and Build

The cable measures 1.8 meters with a black finish throughout. The DisplayPort plug includes a latch mechanism with a release button to prevent accidental disconnection. Both connectors and the cable jacket are reinforced against bending stress. The adapter weighs 71 grams including the cable.

Video Performance

The active converter handles resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Common gaming and productivity modes include 2560 x 1440 at 144 Hz and 1920 x 1080 at 240 Hz. HDR10 support enables expanded contrast and color range. The chip manages DDC communication for automatic display configuration.

Audio and Content Protection

Lossless multichannel audio passes through at up to 8 channels, 192 kHz, and 24-bit depth. HDCP 2.3 compliance allows playback of protected 4K streams from major services when all linked devices support the standard. The adapter is backward compatible with HDCP 2.2 and 1.4.

Compatibility and Use

The unidirectional cable works with any DisplayPort 1.4 source and HDMI 2.0b display. No software installation is needed on Windows, macOS, Linux, or Chrome OS. It supports both mirror and extended desktop modes. The package includes the adapter cable and a multilingual manual.
