Overview

A PCIe 3.0 x8 capture and playback card with four bidirectional 12G-SDI ports and HDMI 2.1. Built for 8K60 and 4K120 workflows in film, broadcast, and post-production.

Video Performance and Formats

The card handles SD through 8K resolutions. It captures 8K at 60 fps and 4K DCI at 120 fps. Supported color includes 8- and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 plus 10- and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with Rec. 2020. HDR workflows cover HLG, PQ, and static metadata.

SDI and HDMI Connectivity

Four bidirectional 12G-SDI connectors operate as independent inputs or outputs via the DeckLink SDK. Each stream can use different formats up to 4K DCI 60p. HDMI 2.1 provides an additional video input and output path.

Audio and Data Interface

Up to 64 embedded audio channels travel over SDI in 4K and 8K modes. The host connection uses a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot to sustain the required data throughput for multi-channel capture and playback.

Software and Operating Conditions

Bundled utilities include Media Express, Disk Speed Test, and Desktop Video Utility. Drivers support Windows 10, 8.1, 7, macOS 10.13 and 10.14, and Linux. Operating range is 5 to 40 degrees Celsius at up to 90 percent humidity.
