Overview

A Formula-inspired quick-release system machined from aluminum for ARES wheelbases. It uses a ball-lock mechanism and spring contacts to deliver zero-play, interference-free wheel changes.

Design and Construction

The unit is CNC-machined from aluminum with a light gray finish. A claw-style torque transfer piece combines with a ball locking mechanism to eliminate longitudinal play. Dimensions are 80 mm deep by 74 mm wide and 74 mm high.

Signal Integrity

Integrated spring contacts replace traditional cables to ensure stable, interference-free signal transmission. The contact geometry is optimized to prevent wear and maintain precision under high force feedback loads.

Compatibility and Options

Designed specifically for the ARES wheelbase series. An optional adapter allows mounting on bolt patterns ranging from 50 mm to 70 mm.
