Overview

A magnetic quick release system with USB passthrough designed for sim racing steering wheels and wheelbases. Compatible with 50.8mm and 70mm mounting patterns.

Design and Build

The unit uses a magnetic locking mechanism to secure the steering wheel to the wheelbase. Black anodized aluminum housing provides rigidity while keeping weight low. The two-piece set includes both the wheel-side and base-side modules.

Connectivity

An integrated USB passthrough routes data from wheel buttons, encoders, and paddles to the wheelbase without extra cables. The connection engages automatically when the magnetic halves join.

Compatibility

The base-side module mounts to standard 50.8mm and 70mm bolt patterns found on most direct-drive and belt-driven wheelbases. The wheel-side module attaches to Cube Controls wheels and other rims with the same hole spacing.
