Overview

A full-size mechanical keyboard featuring a Fallout Vault-Tec design, Cherry MX Brown tactile switches, and hot-swappable Kailh sockets. Built for gamers and typists who want themed aesthetics with standard ANSI layout.

Design and Build

The keyboard uses a white low-profile case measuring 450 mm by 140 mm by 40 mm and weighs 1.123 kg. It features a blue-yellow Vault-Tec color scheme with Vault Boy and Vault-Tec logos on the spacebar. Six extra novelty keycaps with Vault Boy poses and Fallout icons are included for customization.

Switch Performance

Cherry MX Brown switches provide tactile feedback at a 2 mm actuation point and 4 mm total travel. The 55 gf actuation force balances typing speed with gaming responsiveness. Switches mount on Kailh hot-swap sockets so they can be replaced without soldering.

QUACK Mechanics Features

Double-shot polycarbonate keycaps use two-layer molding for durability; legends are blue-white and yellow-blue. A Q-Bounce rubber pad and EVA foam layer dampen vibration and noise. Three-level adjustable feet reduce wrist strain during long sessions.

Connectivity and Functions

A detachable USB-C to USB Type-A cable connects the keyboard. N-key rollover and anti-ghosting ensure every press registers. Macro and multimedia commands are accessed through dual-function key assignments. Per-key RGB lighting is adjustable with numerous built-in effects.
