Overview

A short black adapter cable that lets you run a water cooling pump or fan from a SATA power connector while leak testing a custom loop.

Design and Build

The adapter uses a black SATA power plug on one end and a black 3-pin fan socket on the other. Total cable length is 15 centimeters, keeping excess wire to a minimum inside the case.

Intended Use

Plug the pump or fan into the 3-pin socket and the SATA end into the power supply. This powers the cooling component for leak testing without turning on the motherboard or other hardware.

Compatibility

Works with any liquid cooling pump or case fan that uses a standard 3-pin header. The SATA plug fits any available SATA power cable from the PSU.
