Overview

This tool kit provides everything needed to cut, smooth, and heat-bend solid acrylic tubing with 10mm or 12mm inner diameters for custom water cooling loops.

Kit Contents and Purpose

The package contains a hacksaw, a sheet of P220 grit sandpaper measuring 115mm by 140mm, and two white silicone cords. One cord is 9.4mm thick for 10mm ID tubing, the other is 11.7mm thick for 12mm ID tubing. Both cords are 33cm long.

Cutting and Finishing

Use the hacksaw to cut solid acrylic tubes to the required length. Follow with the included sandpaper to chamfer and smooth the cut edges for a clean fit inside compression fittings.

Heat Bending Process

Insert the appropriate silicone cord into the tube before heating. The cord prevents the tube from collapsing or kinking while a heat gun softens the acrylic for custom bends.
