Overview

A 30mm thick 120mm copper radiator built for space-constrained custom loops. It delivers strong thermal performance at low fan speeds with minimal flow restriction.

Design and Build

The radiator measures 165mm long, 130mm wide, and 30mm thick, weighing 0.5kg. Thick extruded aluminum end caps with a silver finish join stainless-steel side plates coated in semi-gloss black paint. Fins carry a black matte coating with high thermal conductivity.

Performance

Sixteen 2mm copper tubes and high-grade non-louvered fins at 20 FPI balance heat transfer and air resistance. The core delivers up to 20% better performance than the previous CoolStream SE generation at low and medium fan speeds. Push/pull configurations are not recommended for proportional gains.

Loop Integration

Two G1/4 ports and a multipass layout keep flow restriction low, allowing multiple radiators on a single D5 or DDC pump. EK-Matrix7 standardization aligns port positions with Reflection² distro plates for parallel tubing runs and easy swaps between S, P, and X series radiators.

Modding and Mounting

Modular construction simplifies disassembly for painting or customization. Four black M4x30mm Philips screws are included for standard 25mm fans; M4 threading permits longer screws if needed without damaging the core. EK recommends sealed-edge frame fans for optimal results.
