Overview

A 420mm slim radiator built for custom water-cooling loops. Its 30mm profile fits tight cases while delivering strong thermal performance at low fan speeds.

Design and Build

The radiator measures 465 mm long, 145 mm wide, and 30 mm high. Stainless-steel side plates carry a semi-gloss black finish, while thick extruded aluminum end caps add a silver accent. Copper fins receive a black matte coating for thermal conductivity, and the multipass core uses eighteen 2 mm tubes for unrestricted flow.

Performance

Core improvements yield up to 20 percent better thermal performance than the previous CoolStream SE at low and medium fan speeds. Low flow restriction lets a single D5 or DDC pump drive multiple radiators. Push-pull fan configurations are not recommended because gains are not proportional.

Compatibility and Installation

Two G1/4-inch ports accept standard fittings. The unit mounts three 140 mm fans using the supplied black M4x30 mm Phillips screws. EK-Matrix7 standardization aligns port spacing with Quantum distro plates, enabling simple swaps between S, P, and X series radiators in supported cases.

Modding Friendly

Modular construction makes disassembly straightforward for custom painting or modification. Longer M4 screws can be sourced if needed without damaging the core, as excess length contacts only the fins.
