Overview

The Fractal Design Epoch XL is a mid-tower chassis with a tinted tempered glass side panel and high-airflow mesh front. It suits builders who want a clean look with room for E-ATX motherboards and large cooling setups.

Design and Build

The case uses steel construction with a slightly tinted tempered glass side panel. A breathable mesh front panel promotes strong airflow while keeping a minimalist black exterior.

Cooling and Radiator Support

Three 140mm ARGB fans come pre-installed at the front. The chassis accommodates up to seven fans total, including two 180mm units on top. It supports a 360mm radiator at the front and another at the top, plus a 120mm rear radiator.

Hardware Compatibility

Maximum CPU cooler height is 176mm and graphics card length is 425mm. The power supply tunnel accepts ATX units up to 290mm deep. Seven expansion slots are available for PCIe devices.

Storage and Front I/O

Drive capacity includes two 3.5-inch bays and four 2.5-inch mounts. The top-mounted I/O panel provides one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port at 20 Gbps, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm TRRS headset jack.
