Overview

A compact adapter that turns a USB-C port into a standard USB-A connection. It supports 10Gbps data rates for external drives and accessories.

Design and Build

The adapter uses a gray aluminum housing that resists wear. Both connectors are straight plugs with no angled ends. There is no cable or sleeving between the ends.

Performance and Use

Rated for USB 3.1 Gen 2, it moves data at up to 10 Gbit/s when paired with compatible devices. It lets you connect USB-A flash drives, hard drives, or other peripherals to a USB-C port on a laptop, desktop, or phone.

Connectivity
