Overview

The Hyte Y50 is a mid-tower chassis featuring a three-panel tempered glass design and dual-chamber layout. It fits E-ATX and back-connect motherboards, long graphics cards, and extensive cooling.

Design and Build

The chassis uses steel, ABS, and three tempered glass panels without thick corner posts for a near-unobstructed view. A dual-chamber layout routes cables, drives, and the power supply behind the motherboard tray. The Pitch Black finish covers the entire exterior.

Component Compatibility

Motherboard support ranges from Mini-ITX through E-ATX, including ASUS BTF, Gigabyte Project Stealth, and MSI Project Zero back-connect designs. Maximum graphics card length is 410 mm, CPU cooler height is 160 mm, and power supply depth is 250 mm. Seven expansion slots are available.

Cooling Capacity

The case accommodates up to nine 120 mm fans or two 140 mm fans at the top. Radiator support includes a 360 mm unit at the top, a 360 mm unit at the side, and a 120 mm unit at the rear. Four 120 mm fans are pre-installed.

Storage and Front I/O

Internal drive bays support up to six 2.5-inch drives and two 3.5-inch drives. The side-mounted front panel provides one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a 3.5 mm TRRS combo audio jack.
