Overview

The Hyte Y70 is a dual-chamber mid-tower case built for ATX and E-ATX motherboards. It features panoramic tempered glass panels, a 4-slot vertical GPU mount with included PCIe 4.0 riser, and extensive cooling support for high-performance builds.

Design and Layout

The case uses a dual-chamber layout that separates the motherboard tray from the power supply and drive cages. Three-piece panoramic tempered glass on the front and side panels provides a clear view of internal components. Tool-less top and side panels allow quick access, while floating storage sleds eject from the rear for drive maintenance.

Cooling Capacity

The side panel accommodates a 360 mm radiator up to 125 mm thick, and the adjustable top bracket fits another 360 mm radiator up to 68 mm thick. A bottom cold floor accepts three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans up to 32 mm thick to feed the vertical GPU directly. Total fan capacity reaches ten 120 mm or seven 140 mm units across bottom, side, top, and rear mounts.

GPU Installation

A 4-slot vertical mounting bracket positions the graphics card against the side glass with an airflow gap. The included PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable features a color-matched canopy for clean routing. This arrangement also leaves room behind the GPU for half-height PCIe expansion cards.

Storage and Connectivity

The chassis supports four 2.5-inch drives and two 3.5-inch drives, with four combined 3.5/2.5-inch internal bays. Front I/O includes one USB 3.2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a 3.5 mm TRRS audio combo jack. Dust filters are fitted at the bottom, side, and top intakes.
