Overview

The Hyte Y70 is a dual-chamber mid tower case with panoramic tempered glass panels, designed for E-ATX motherboards and high-end vertical GPU configurations.

Design and Layout

The case uses a dual-chamber layout with three-piece panoramic tempered glass on the front and side. Tool-less top and side panels open for easy access. Cable routing channels, an L-shaped rubber grommet, and reusable Velcro straps keep the rear chamber organized. Floating storage sleds eject from the rear for drive maintenance.

Cooling and Radiator Support

The side panel fits a 360 mm radiator up to 125 mm thick. An adjustable top bracket accepts another 360 mm radiator up to 68 mm thick. The bottom cold floor mounts three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans up to 32 mm thick. A single 120 mm or 140 mm fan can be installed at the rear. Total fan capacity is ten 120 mm or seven 140 mm units.

Component Clearance

CPU coolers up to 180 mm tall are supported. Power supplies up to 235 mm long mount at the rear bottom. The vertical GPU bracket accommodates four-slot cards with extra airflow space to the glass. Eleven expansion slots are allocated as four for the vertical GPU and seven for rear I/O.

Storage and Connectivity

The case provides four 2.5-inch drive bays and two 3.5-inch bays, with four combined 3.5/2.5-inch internal slots. Front I/O includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a 3.5 mm TRRS headset jack. Dust filters are included for the bottom, side, and top intakes.
