Overview

The Jonsbo N5 is a cube chassis built for network-attached storage or workstation use. It fits E-ATX motherboards and holds up to sixteen drives with hot-swap backplanes.

Storage Capacity and Drive Support

The chassis accommodates twelve 3.5-inch drives on pre-installed hot-swap backplanes and four additional 2.5-inch SSDs internally. Combined capacity reaches sixteen drives for large NAS deployments.

Motherboard and Expansion Compatibility

E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX, and XL-ATX boards are supported. Eight PCI expansion slots allow multiple add-in cards, and the 350 mm GPU clearance fits high-end graphics cards for workstation tasks.

Cooling and Airflow Design

Mesh panels on the front, side, and rear promote high airflow. Three 120 mm fans are included, with mounts for up to three 120 mm fans at the rear and side plus two 140 mm fans at the front. A 280 mm radiator can be installed at the front.

Build Materials and Front Panel Features

The case uses aluminum alloy, steel, and dark brown wood accents. A front door covers the drive bays. Front I/O provides one USB 3.2 Type-C port, one USB 3.0 Type-A port, and a 3.5 mm TRRS headset jack. Dust filters are included.
