Design and Build

The drive measures 100 mm long, 69.9 mm wide, and 7 mm thick with a black casing. It has no heatsink and contains no moving parts, making it cooler, quieter, and resistant to shock and vibration.

Performance

A Phison controller enables sequential reads up to 500 MB/s and writes up to 350 MB/s on a SATA 6 Gbps host. The TLC NAND is rated for 80 TBW and a 1 million hour mean time between failures.

Compatibility and Use

Designed for desktop and notebook workloads, not for server environments. The 2.5-inch SATA form factor fits standard drive bays and caddies. Actual usable capacity is slightly less than the labeled 240 GB due to formatting overhead.

Power and Connectivity
