The NF-A12x25r is a round-frame 120mm PWM fan built for tight clearances on dual-tower coolers. It delivers the same quiet cooling performance as the square flagship model.

Design and Compatibility

The round frame allows installation in spaces where square 120mm fans cannot fit, such as between the towers of the NH-D12L cooler. It avoids interference with tall motherboard heatsinks or shrouds while maintaining standard 120mm mounting dimensions.

Performance and Acoustics

The Sterrox LCP impeller uses Flow Acceleration Channels and a 0.5mm tip clearance to optimize the pressure-to-airflow curve. This design reduces vortex noise and leak flows, delivering smooth frequency output under back pressure from heatsinks or radiators.

Construction and Features

A steel motor hub with brass-reinforced axle mount ensures rotational precision. The AAO frame integrates anti-vibration pads, Stepped Inlet Design, and Inner Surface Microstructures. The SSO2 bearing provides long-term running smoothness.

Control and Accessories

The 4-pin PWM connector enables automatic speed control via motherboard headers. A Low-Noise Adapter is included to cap maximum speed at 1700 RPM for quieter operation. The fan operates on 12 V starting voltage.
