Overview

A pair of black 140mm PWM fans built for CPU coolers. Liquid crystal polymer blades and a self-stabilizing oil-pressure bearing keep noise low at high speeds.

Design and materials

The chromax.black finish gives an all-black frame and rotor that suit any build. Fan blades use liquid crystal polymer for rigidity and reduced vibration. The frame measures 140mm square by 25mm thick with standard 105mm mounting holes.

Performance and noise

At 1500 RPM the fan delivers 91.58 CFM airflow and 2.56 mmH2O static pressure while producing only 24.8 dB(A). The included low-noise adapter caps speed at 1250 RPM, dropping noise to 19.7 dB(A) with minimal cooling loss.

Bearing and control

Noctua's SSO2 self-stabilizing oil-pressure bearing minimizes wobble and harmonic oscillation. The 4-pin PWM connector allows precise speed control down to 0 RPM, and the starting voltage is 7V.

Included accessories

The two-pack contains matched fans for consistent acoustics. Also supplied are a low-noise adapter, a 4-pin PWM splitter cable, and standard mounting hardware.
