Overview

This kit enables a 5.25-inch slim slot-loading optical drive in the Streacom DB4 case. It includes a drive tray and a replacement acrylic top panel.

Drive Integration

The kit adds a slim slot-loading optical drive bay to the DB4 chassis. The drive secures to a dedicated tray that mounts behind the motherboard tray, keeping the internal layout clean.

Panel and Operation

An acrylic top panel with a precision slot cutout replaces the standard panel. Drives with a mechanical eject button are triggered by pressing the center of the acrylic panel.

Materials and Finish

The assembly uses aluminum for the drive tray and acrylic for the top panel. The primary finish is black with silver accents matching the DB4 aesthetic.
