Overview

A machined brass compression fitting designed for 13 mm OD soft tubing in custom water cooling loops. It uses a G1/4 thread and knurled ring for secure hose retention.

Material and Construction

The fitting is machined from brass, an alloy of copper and zinc that provides anodic compatibility with other loop metals. It is harder and more corrosion resistant than pure copper. A matte black chrome coating gives a premium finish that is easy to clean.

Sealing and Retention

A single tapered hose connector works with a knurled compression ring to clamp the tube with high retention force. The seal uses an EPDM O-ring chosen for elasticity and resistance to ozone and UV exposure.

Dimensions and Installation

Overall height is 14 mm with a uniform 21 mm outer diameter shared across the DeltaMate line. The fitting weighs 29 g and is tightened using an 8 mm internal hex key. It features a straight, non-rotatable G1/4 male thread.
