Overview

A set of three transparent acrylic scrapers built for cleaning CPU dies after delidding. The ergonomic shape provides a secure grip while protecting sensitive components from scratches.

Design and Materials

Each scraper is molded from transparent acrylic glass. The narrow tip targets residue on CPU dies and package substrates. An ergonomic profile gives the user a confident hold. A peel-off protective film covers the working edges until first use.

Usage and Performance

The tool removes silicone adhesive from processor PCBs and indium solder from die surfaces. Thermal Grizzly advises gentle, rough cleaning with the scraper followed by liquid metal for stubborn residue. This sequence prepares the die for direct-die cooling. Careful technique is required to avoid damaging nearby components.
