Overview

A full-metal collective base for helicopter simulators featuring a factory counterweight, twist throttle with idle stop, adjustable clutch, and a three-position cam plate for travel limits.

Design and Build

The base is machined entirely from metal for a rigid, play-free feel. A factory-fitted counterweight balances the lever to reduce arm fatigue during extended sessions. Dimensions are 369 mm deep, 209 mm wide, and 122 mm high.

Controls and Adjustability

A twist axis on the grip handles throttle input and features a mechanical idle button for tactile feedback. A three-position cam plate sets the collective travel range. An adjustable clutch lets you tune resistance to match any helicopter type.

Connectivity and Software

USB plug-and-play connection works immediately in Windows. Virpil's VPC software provides deeper configuration for axis curves, dead zones, and button mapping.
