Performance and Architecture

The drive uses a PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe interface paired with TLC 3D CBA NAND and nCache 4.0 to reach 14,900 MB/s sequential read and 14,000 MB/s sequential write speeds. Random performance exceeds 2,300,000 IOPS on the 2 TB to 4 TB models.

Thermal Design

A low-profile anodized aluminum heatsink with double thermal interface pads provides passive cooling without fans or extra power cables. The design maintains temperatures for sustained Gen 5 operation while adding minimal height.

Endurance and Efficiency

The 4 TB model is rated for 2,400 TBW and 1.75 million hours MTBF. Average active power consumption stays at or below 7 W, delivering over 100 percent better power efficiency than the previous Gen 4 generation.

Security and Compatibility

TCG Opal hardware encryption helps protect sensitive data. The M.2 2280 M-key form factor fits standard desktop and workstation slots. The package includes the SSD with pre-attached heatsink.
