Overview

A 5.25-inch removable frame that fits one 3.5-inch hard drive and one 2.5-inch SSD or HDD. It connects via SATA 6Gbps and adds two front USB 3.0 ports.

Design and Build

The unit uses a stainless steel structure with plastic components. A keyed lock secures the drives inside the 5.25-inch bay. Dimensions are 148 mm wide, 194 mm deep, and 42 mm high.

Drive Support and Performance

Supports one 3.5-inch SATA hard drive and one 2.5-inch SATA SSD or hard drive up to 9.5 mm thick. The SATA 6Gbps interface enables full drive speed. Hot-swap capability allows drive changes without shutting down the system.

Connectivity

Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports on the front provide up to 5 Gbps data transfer for external devices. No integrated card reader is included.

Installation

Tool-less drive trays make installation and removal quick. The frame mounts into any standard 5.25-inch bay using standard case screws.
