Overview

The AXAGON ADSA-CC is a USB-C 10Gbps adapter that connects an NVMe M.2 SSD and a 2.5 or 3.5 inch SATA drive at the same time. It supports standalone sector-by-sector cloning without a computer.

Dual Drive Connectivity

The adapter accepts one NVMe M.2 SSD (2242, 2260, or 2280, single or double-sided) and one SATA 2.5 or 3.5 inch drive simultaneously. A SATA M.2 drive can also be used via an optional M.2 to SATA adapter. No tools are required for M.2 installation.

Standalone Cloning Function

Clone drives without a PC connection. A hardware switch sets the direction from NVMe to SATA or SATA to NVMe. The target drive must be equal to or larger than the source. Cloning speed reaches up to 500 MB/s with progress shown by four blue LEDs.

Performance and Compatibility

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface delivers up to 10 Gbps theoretical bandwidth with real-world throughput around 1000 MB/s. It supports UASP, TRIM, S.M.A.R.T., and booting from attached drives. Backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.

Power and Included Accessories

M.2 and 2.5 inch drives run on USB bus power. A 12V 2A AC adapter is included for 3.5 inch drives. The package also contains a 30 cm USB-C to USB-C cable with a fixed USB-C to USB-A adapter for broad port compatibility.
