Overview

This internal 3.5-inch drive bay device reads six memory card formats. It connects via internal USB 2.0 and provides a front-facing USB port.

Design and Installation

The unit mounts in a single 3.5-inch drive bay and features a black faceplate. An internal USB 2.0 header handles data and power. A second USB 2.0 port on the front allows connection of external devices.

Supported Card Formats

Six slots accept CompactFlash Type I and II, Memory Stick Pro, Duo, and M2, Secure Digital, SDHC, MMC, Extreme Digital, and MicroSD cards. High-capacity SDHC and MicroSDHC cards are supported.

Performance and Connectivity

The USB 2.0 interface provides a maximum data transfer rate of 480 Mbit/s. No SIM card slot is present. The reader draws power directly from the internal USB connection.

System Compatibility

Drivers support Windows XP, Vista, and 7. The device functions as a standard mass storage device on these operating systems without additional software.
