Overview

A compact three-slot card reader with an aluminum body that reads SD, microSD, and CompactFlash media over USB-A 3.2 Gen 1. Suited for photographers and videographers who need fast UHS-II and CF card transfers.

Design and Build

The reader uses a gray aluminum shell with a soft-touch finish that resists fingerprints. It measures 64 by 60 by 15 millimeters and weighs 53 grams. A 15-centimeter fixed USB-A cable connects to the host. A green LED shows power and blinks during data transfer.

Card Support and Speed

All three slots operate at the same time. The SD and microSD slots accept cards up to 2 TB including UHS-II, which reaches 156 MB/s full-duplex or 312 MB/s half-duplex. UHS-I cards run up to 104 MB/s. The CF slot supports Type I cards up to 128 PB per the CF 6.0 UDMA 0-7 specification.

Connectivity and Compatibility

The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface delivers 5 Gbps SuperSpeed and falls back to USB 2.0 or 1.1. The device is bus-powered and supports plug-and-play with hot-swap. It appears as three separate drive letters. Drivers are built into Windows 7 through 11, macOS 10.x, Linux kernel 2.4.x, and all Android versions.

The package contains the card reader and a multilingual manual. It ships in a cardboard box with a hanging hole.
