Overview

This integrated pump and reservoir unit combines a VPP Apex D5 pump with a 180 ml acrylic reservoir. It suits custom loop builders who want strong flow and visual flair in a compact footprint.

Design and Mounting

The unit measures 242 mm long by 77 mm square and weighs 1.041 kg. A mounting frame secures it to 120 mm or 140 mm fan positions or directly to a radiator. Stand feet are included for freestanding placement outside the chassis.

Pump Performance

The VPP Apex D5 delivers up to 340 liters per hour at a 4.25 meter pressure head while drawing 14 watts at 12 volts. Speed is controlled through a 4-pin PWM header; power comes from a SATA connector.

Lighting and Visuals

Coolant enters through central riser tubes and sprays against the outer glass wall, creating the Lighttower effect. Integrated addressable RGB LEDs connect via standard 3-pin 5V D-G and Phanteks 3-pin headers for software control.

Compatibility and Care

Five G1/4 threads accept standard fittings. The system supports coolant temperatures up to 60 °C. Use only clear, transparent fluids; pastel or particulate coolants can clog components and void the three-year warranty.
