Overview

This pump and reservoir combo holds 230 ml of coolant in a borosilicate glass tube. It suits builders who want a pre-installed D5 PWM pump with integrated filtration and flexible mounting options.

Design and Materials

The reservoir uses a 65 mm outer diameter borosilicate glass tube with 5 mm walls for high scratch and chemical resistance. Black anodized aluminum rings secure the ends without contacting the fluid. The lid and base are molded from durable acetal with a rubber seal for reliable closure.

Pump Performance

A D5 PWM pump is factory-mounted at the base and operates on 8 to 24 V DC. It draws 23 W at 12 V and delivers a maximum head pressure of 3.7 meters. Speed is adjustable via PWM signal while a tachometer output allows RPM monitoring.

Filtration and Maintenance

A stainless steel mesh filter sits in the base to catch debris and reduce air bubbles. The filter element removes easily for cleaning under running water without disassembling the loop.

Mounting and Connections

The package supplies hardware for both wall and floor installation plus four soft rubber decouplers to dampen vibration. Two G1/4 inch ports accept standard fittings. Power connects via 4-pin Molex while control uses a 4-pin PWM fan connector.
