Overview

This inline temperature sensor measures coolant temperature directly in the loop. It suits builders who want precise fan or pump control based on fluid temperature.

Design and Installation

The sensor body acts as a G1/4 extension with one male and one female thread. It threads between a CPU water block and a fitting without extra adapters. A 20 mm open-end wrench helps installation, but final tightening must be hand-tight only.

Performance and Use

Coolant temperature is the most accurate indicator of loop performance. The sensor feeds real-time data to compatible controllers, enabling automatic pump and fan speed adjustments based on fluid temperature.

Compatibility

Supported devices include aqua computer aquaero 3.07 and 4.0, aquastream XT Ultra pump, and aquaduct 360 XT and 720 XT external coolers. The two-pin connector also works with many motherboard sensor headers.

What Is Included

The package contains the temperature sensor with attached 60 cm two-pin cable. No additional fittings or mounting hardware are supplied.
