Overview

This inline temperature sensor measures coolant temperature using a G1/4 inch thread. It connects to aqua computer controllers or motherboard sensor headers for automated fan and pump control.

Design and Installation

The sensor features a continuous G1/4 inch internal thread allowing fittings on both sides for inline mounting. The body uses nickel-plated brass and Delrin. An 18mm open-end wrench is recommended for fitting installation, but connections must only be tightened by hand.

Performance and Use

Measuring coolant temperature provides the best indicator of cooling performance. The sensor enables temperature-dependent control of pumps and fans when paired with supported aqua computer controllers or motherboard sensor inputs.

Connectivity and Compatibility

A 60 cm two-pin cable connects the sensor to the controller. Supported devices include aquaero 3.07 and 4.0, aquastream XT Ultra, aquaduct 360 XT and 720 XT, and sensor headers on many motherboards.
