Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for AM5 processors. It targets builders who want PCIe 5.0 graphics and storage, high-speed DDR5, and integrated Wi-Fi 6E.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a black ATX layout with two 8-pin CPU power connectors. Heatsinks cover the VRM area and each M.2 slot to manage thermals during sustained loads.

Performance and Overclocking

CPU and memory overclocking are supported. AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles work with DDR5 modules up to 8000 MT/s. A BIOS flashback button allows recovery without a processor installed.

Connectivity and Expansion

External ports include one USB 3.1 Type-C, one USB 3.0 Type-C, three USB 3.0 Type-A, and six USB 2.0 Type-A. Video outputs are HDMI and a USB Type-C with DisplayPort alt mode. Internal headers add one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one USB 3.0, and two USB 2.0 headers.

Storage and Cooling Options

Four M.2 sockets provide one PCIe 5.0 x4, two PCIe 4.0 x4, and one PCIe 3.0 x4 connection. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports are also available. Seven 4-pin PWM fan headers and RGB headers (one 12 V, three 5 V addressable) give extensive cooling and lighting control.
