Overview

This EATX motherboard pairs the AMD X870E chipset with the AM5 socket to support Ryzen 9000 series processors. It targets enthusiasts who need extensive PCIe 5.0 connectivity and strong overclocking headroom.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a 24 native phase VRM design supplemented by three additional phases, delivering up to 110 A per phase through dual 8-pin CPU power connectors. Eight 4-pin PWM fan headers plus dedicated pump and water-pump connectors provide comprehensive cooling control.

Memory and Expansion

Four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 256 GB at speeds reaching 8200 MHz when overclocked. Two full-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots operate at x16 or x8/x8 electrical, while four M.2 sockets include one CPU-attached PCIe 5.0 x4 slot and three chipset-attached PCIe 4.0 x4 slots.

Connectivity and I/O

The rear panel offers two USB4 Type-C ports at 40 Gbps with DisplayPort alt mode, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.1, 5 GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 6E antenna connectors, and audio jacks driven by the Realtek ALC4082 codec.
