Overview

This ATX motherboard pairs the AMD X870E chipset with an AM5 socket for Ryzen 9000 series processors. It targets enthusiasts who need high-speed storage, fast networking, and robust overclocking headroom.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a 14+2+1 phase VRM with heatsinks to maintain stable voltage during heavy loads. A white ATX PCB measures 304.8 mm by 243.8 mm and includes a rear I/O shield, M.2 shields, and VRM heatsinks. Eight 4-pin PWM headers support extensive fan or pump configurations.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept UDIMM or CUDIMM DDR5 up to 256 GB with AMD EXPO profiles up to 8400 MT/s. Expansion includes one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot running at x4, and one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot running at x1.

Storage and Connectivity

Four M.2 sockets provide two PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4 interfaces alongside four SATA 6G ports. Rear I/O offers one USB4 Type-C at 40 Gbps, one USB 3.1 Type-C, five USB 3.1 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, and a USB-C DisplayPort alt-mode connection.

Networking and Extras
