Overview

A Micro-ATX motherboard built on the AMD B650 chipset for Socket AM5 Ryzen 7000 processors. Supports DDR5 memory up to 128 GB with four DIMM slots.

Power and Cooling Design

The board uses a robust VRM heatsink with thermal pads to manage heat from MOSFETs and chokes. Five 4-pin PWM fan headers connect to Fan Xpert 2+ or UEFI BIOS for custom curves. Each header can reference four thermal sensors, including supported ASUS GPU temperatures.

Memory and Storage

Four DDR5 slots support up to 128 GB with AMD EXPO profiles and AEMP for non-EXPO kits. Storage includes one PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, one PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, two additional M.2 slots, and four SATA 6 Gbps ports.

Connectivity and Expansion

Rear I/O provides one USB-C 3.0, two USB 3.1 Type-A, two USB 3.0 Type-A, HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA. Internal headers add one USB-C 3.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. A single 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port handles networking. Three PCIe 4.0 x16 mechanical slots allow GPU and add-in cards.

RGB and Audio

One 12 V 4-pin RGB header and three 5 V 3-pin addressable RGB headers support lighting strips. Onboard audio uses premium components and intelligent layout for improved signal clarity.
