Overview

A Micro-ATX motherboard built for AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors on the AM5 platform. It suits builders who want PCIe 5.0 storage, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and wireless connectivity in a compact layout.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a Micro-ATX form factor measuring 24.4 cm square in black with gray and silver accents. An 8+2 phase VRM design with DIGI+ VRM control supplies stable power for sustained high clocks. BIOS Flashback and a dedicated Clear CMOS button simplify recovery from failed overclocks.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots support up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory at speeds up to 6400 MT/s when overclocked. A single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot handles graphics cards while two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots provide additional expansion. Most AM4 CPU coolers remain compatible with the AM5 socket mounting pattern.

Storage and Connectivity

Storage includes one PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot and four SATA 6 Gbps ports. Rear I/O offers one USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, DisplayPort, VGA, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth antennas.

Cooling and Lighting

Five 4-pin PWM fan headers allow comprehensive cooling control. RGB lighting is supported through one 12 V 4-pin header and three 5 V 3-pin addressable headers, all synchronized via ASUS Aura Sync software.
