Overview

A Micro-ATX motherboard built on the Intel B760 chipset for 12th and 13th Gen Core processors. It supports DDR5 memory, dual M.2 slots, 2.5 GbE LAN, and integrated Wi-Fi with Bluetooth.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a six-layer PCB with two-ounce copper layers to manage heat from high-core-count CPUs. A ProCool 8-pin connector uses solid pins for higher current capacity, while the Digi+ VRM provides precise digital voltage control. VRM heatsinks with thermal pads improve heat transfer from MOSFETs and chokes.

Cooling and Fan Control

An M.2 heatsink with captive screws prevents storage throttling during sustained transfers. Four 4-pin hybrid fan headers support PWM or DC fans and include overcurrent protection. Fan Xpert 2+ software and UEFI BIOS offer auto-tuning, an extreme quiet mode, and per-header temperature mapping from up to three sensors.

Connectivity and Expansion

Two PCIe 4.0 x16 mechanical slots and one PCIe 4.0 x1 slot handle graphics and add-in cards. Storage includes two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots and four SATA 6 Gbps ports. Rear I/O provides 2.5 GbE LAN, Wi-Fi with Bluetooth, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, DisplayPort, and two HDMI outputs. Internal headers include one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, four USB 3.0 ports, and four RGB or addressable RGB connectors.

BIOS and Software Features

The UEFI BIOS offers an EZ mode with guided wizards and an Advanced mode with search for detailed tuning. ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile II (AEMP II) optimizes PMIC-restricted DDR5 modules. AI Cooling and AI Networking automate fan curves and traffic prioritization. Aura On/Off mode disables all onboard LEDs for a subdued look.
